Why GloriaFood is shutting down

GloriaFood was acquired by Oracle in 2021 and merged into the broader Simphony POS suite. In December 2025, Oracle officially announced that the standalone GloriaFood product would be retired on April 30, 2027, with users encouraged to migrate to Simphony (significantly more expensive) or another solution.

Will my GloriaFood data be lost after migration?

No. The migration preserves all your dishes, photos, prices, categories. We do not delete anything from GloriaFood — we copy the data.

How long does the migration take?

About 10 minutes for a typical 50-dish menu. AI handles 95% of the heavy lifting (parsing, descriptions, translations, photos). You review and publish.

What if I have more than 50 dishes?

You can still migrate everything. The Free plan publishes up to 50 dishes; if you have more, the Pro plan ($10/month) handles unlimited dishes. Migration itself is always free.

When should I start the migration?
